Product Introduction

Electrolytic tin plate coils and sheets for food metal packaging are thin steel plates coated with tin by electrolytic deposition. Tinplate made by this process is essentially a sandwich in which the central core is strip steel.

Our cuatomers buy ETP tinplate for food containers and can packagings. This kind of tinplate sheet is very popular in cannery containers, because it isn't harmful to people's body.

The core is cleaned in a pickling solution and tin is deposited on both sides through a tank containing an electrolyte. As the strip passes between high-frequency induction coils, it is heated so that the tin coating melts and flows, creating a shiny coating.
